移殖Siri 到 iPhone 4/ iPhone 3GS/ iPod touch (Guide)
One of the best features of the newly released iPhone 4S is the voice command feature Siri. If you do not own an iPhone 4S, you can still get Siri for your iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and the iPod touch, yes folks its finally here (kind of). You can now install Siri on the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and the iPod touch. Check out the guide on installing Siri on other iOS devices.
Before you get all excited, let me remind you that this is GUI (Graphical User Interface) only. What that means is that you can install Siri but you won’t be able to get it functioning because Siri needs to connect to the Apple servers to function and Apple only allows iPhone 4S to connect so other devices are left out of it.
So what exactly is the point of installing Siri on your iPhone 4 iPhone 3GS and iPod touch? Well basically it won’t really do anything but you can just show off to your friends.
DISCLAIMER: We at Maypalo have not tested this method of installing Siri on iOS devices so therefore we can not guarantee that it will work. We are not responsible for any damage to your iOS device.
STEP 1: You will first need to jailbreak your iPhone iPod touch on iOS 5 using Redsnow. If you haven’t head over to our jailbreaking guide.
STEP 2: Download this Siri porting file from here
STEP 3: Connect your iPhone or iPod touch to your computer and extract the above “Siri porting file” and copy AssistantServices.framework using iFile to /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/
STEP 4: Copy the files inside Springboard via the Siri porting file to Root > System > Library > CoreServices > Springboard.app
STEP 5: In the springboard.app file(Step 4) find N90AP.plist (for iphone) and N81AP.plist(for ipod touch) depending on what iOS device you have. Open it with ifile as a text file and add this ‘’<key>assistant</key><true/>’’ after ‘’<key>720p</key><true/>’’
STEP 6: Respring your iPhone or iPod touch and hold the home button and wala you will see Siri.
One again let me remind you that this method does not allow you to make Siri function, it only lets Siri appear on iPhone 4 iPhone 3GS or iPod touch.
