藏招？Google Pixel 2 內建 Google 客製化圖型晶片

Google Pixel 2 系列雙機首度發表就一口氣超越 Apple iPhone 8 Plus 和三星 Galaxy Note 8，成為 DxOMark 當前最高分的拍照手機。但沒想到除了更強化的拍照機能，Google Pixel 2 系列還有一個官方先前從未提到的秘密，就是內建了 Google 首款客製化設計的圖型晶片：Pixel Visual Core，而且這個圖型晶片還是未啟動狀態。



如果 Pixel Visual Core 圖型處理晶片正式啟動的話，Google Pixel 2 的相機表現可能還將會進一步提升。因為 Pixel Visual Core 會增強 Google 的 HDR+ 效能，而且僅需要十分之一的耗電量就可達到五倍的運算效率。

然後 Pixel Visual Core 的優點還不只如此而已，Pixel Visual Core 也將允許第三方相機的應用也能享用到 HDR+ 機能。還有就是 Pixel Visual Core 是可編程設計，代表 Google 在日後還可以持續加入新的功能。

那麼目前尚未啟用的 Pixel Visual Core 何時會解開封印？Google 表示未來數星期內將會釋出的 Android 8.1 Oreo 開發者預覽版，就會首度開放 Pixel Visual Core，之後還會再陸續開放予第三方開發者使用。
